Archiving Policy

The Andalas Obstetrics and Gynecology Journal (AOJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. To safeguard the scholarly record, AOJ implements multiple digital archiving strategies:

  1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
    AOJ participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides decentralized and distributed preservation, ensuring that all published articles remain accessible even in the event of technical or operational interruptions.

  2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
    The journal’s content is preserved using the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This ensures permanent access to the original content and protects against data loss.

  3. ISSN Registration
    AOJ is registered with an e-ISSN (2579-8324), ensuring that the journal and its articles are uniquely identified, catalogued, and accessible in international indexing and library systems.
